Birdwood Downs Station is the perfect place to relax before or after your Gibb River Road adventure, or use as a comfortable base to explore Derby, Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek and the many attractions of the surrounding Kimberley.
Just 20 kilometres from Derby and accessible by 2WD, Birdwood offers a peaceful bush setting and a warm taste of true outback hospitality. Take some time to slow down, enjoy the surroundings and settle into the relaxed station atmosphere.
Their on-site shop stocks their own Burton Beef, along with drinks and station merchandise. Stay for burger night, enjoy a cold drink from the bar and swap stories with fellow travellers around the campfire as the sun sets over the Kimberley.

Open from 1st April to 30th September. You are welcome to arrive without a booking, but we advise to book ahead in our peak season, June, July & August.
