Nallan is an Aboriginal word meaning “good eating” with reference to the bountiful lake environment of Nallan Lake. The large clay pan lake on the station where wildlife watered.

The original Shearer’s Quarters features six rooms with comfy beds, fresh linens, and ceiling fans, with shared kitchen facilities. Unpowered campsites provide a grassed area for tents and caravans, with a camp kitchen, hot showers, and laundry. The fully self-contained Homestead sleeps up to nine guests across five bedrooms and requires a minimum three-night stay. Contractor’s Quarters offer basic but comfortable short-stay accommodation with air-conditioning and private bathroom.
